Serving the poor and needy in our community
Do you yearn to use your God-given gifts and talents to help those in need? Or do you need some help during a difficult time? We are here for you!
In confraternity with the thousands of St. Vincent de Paul conferences throughout the world, the St. Jerome Conference prayerfully strives to provide direct service and emergency help to those in need in the community.
SERVICES PROVIDED
Food distribution to the needy who come to the rectory, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
Emergency shelter assistance for the homeless, assistance with utility bills, and referrals for those with on-going needs.
Members also visit the sick and the elderly, do grocery shopping for shut-ins, provide rides for medical appointments, and do other similar works.
MEETING TIMES
The Conference meets at 7:00 pm on the first and third Monday of every month in the small meeting room behind Rohan Hall.
